can we use TC-08 to track small, slow changes in resistance?

We have a TC-08 with thermocouples. We would like to use it to track small changes in resistance. We expect a gradual change from E-4 ohm to E-2 ohm (increase 200x) over several hours. This is much too low to measure with a Fluke, and we're wondering if we could place a voltage drop across the sample, and connect the wires from a thermocouple to either side, but don't want to blow out the TC-08. We don't see anything in the specs as to how much current it can handle.

I assume a change in voltage would read out as a change in temperature. That would be fine, because we don't need to measure absolute resistance, just relative change over time (e.g. when the maximum occurs, and how much %-wise it drops off after that).

Would this be possible? Or is there maybe a pre-built doohickey we could plug into the TC-08 that would measure resistance in this range? (approx 0.1 to 20 mΩ)
