run multiple Picoscopes at same time in Python

Post by ha879 »

Hi, I want to run multiple Picoscopes (4 devices) at the same time using Python code. If yes, is it okay to run different series at the same time? is there will be a delay in data?

Yes you can control multiple scopes from a single python application, and these can be the same model or ones from different ranges. Each scope will be assigned a unique handle for communication.

Whether you will be able to collect the data you need to perform your analysis will depend upon exactly what you are trying to achieve. If you can post more details about your requirements we can look further at this for you. Alternatively you can email this information to support@picotech.com and we can ask one of our Application Engineers to help you. We would be looking for number of channels, sampling speeds, scope models, amount of data, and a description of what you want to do with the data once you have collected it.
