Re: TA301 Current Probe channel Setup

As far as I know you do the conversion calculation in your own software.

Re: Would micsig voltage probe fit series 4 usb pico oscilloscope?

I have never seen a active probe that outputs more than +/- 5V

But don't expect to measure accurate mv Values at a 1:500 or 1:100 probe.
If you want to measure low voltages with a floating differential probe there are special versions for low voltages that do 1:1 or 10:1 or even 100:1.

Re: Would micsig voltage probe fit series 4 usb pico oscilloscope?

Yes you can add custom probes. There is probably already a profile for this probe and if not you can make it in 2 minutes. And it display's the correct values even the special measurements use the correct values.

Re: Current sensor phase shift

Between 6 and 24 hours depending on the quality of the battery.
This is also true for the different brands (Fluke Rigol etc)

Re: Current sensor phase shift

The current sensor has no phase shift only a propagation delay. I have attached a psdatafile for 12A pulse measurements delays between 1. Shunt resistor (no delay of course) 2. Fluke 80i-110s current probe 3. Hantec CC-65 4. Pico TA300 All are on the correct values after about 10uS. When you are ...

Re: Picoscope 3000s USB lost connectivity

That type of probe is asking to kill your scope when using that amount of power.
Use a HV differential probe to measure on mains voltage devices.

Re: will the Pico 2000 2 channel be sufficient for FM radio tuning?

what frequency range do you expect from the function gen ?
because the 2000 can only do 100kHz or 1MHz depending on the model type.

Re: Constraints on the USB Speed of the Picoscope 5443D

I don't know the USB3 limitations of the 5443D but you will probably also running into problems with python. Handling 500MB of data a second in python is only possible if you have the fastest pc there is to find. And I don't think the scope can stream at 500MB / second 62.5 Ms * 2 Bytes * 4 = 500MB ...

Re: Implementing "profile" button for quick change of the setup of the measurement

you have the .psconfig files that does exactly this.
the only is you need to load them so a couple of clicks
run them and then picoscope opens with the config you want. (except the 4444)

You did connect it to a POE capable switch.
A normal switch or a direct connection to laptop or PC will not work.

You can use one of the standard other scaling probes.

and then x10 or x100 depending on the switch on the TA041

Re: TA041 Probe with PicoScope 3203D Shows No Signal

It is not auto detect you need to configure the probe at the channel in picoscope.

In the clip is a TA511 used that is auto detect the one you have is manual configure.

Re: Greetings from Minnesota

You know this has no added value, maybe expect the times. If you have a 8 bit scope 2000 3000 series then there are 256 distinct values between your max settings. So if you use +/- 20V you have a total swing of 40V / 256 = 0.156V per bit. So in that range the smallest difference the scope can ...
